However, reading this blog will certainly help all cabin crew supervisors excel in their jobs
As a cabin supervisor, you hold a pivotal position in guaranteeing the safety and well-being of our passengers during their flight experience. We understand that your role is multifaceted and demanding, but with meticulous preparation and unwavering attention to detail, you can truly excel in your responsibilities.
Every flight is a unique journey, and every cabin supervisor is a guardian of passenger comfort.
The Must Know Check Lists
1. Flight Details: Block Time and Weather
One of the foremost pieces of information you need to have at your fingertips is the flight's block time and prevailing weather conditions. These crucial details serve as the foundation for planning and orchestrating various activities throughout the flight, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey for our passengers.
2. Captain Operating: Knowing Your CaptainIt is not merely a formality to be acquainted with the name of the captain. This knowledge establishes a critical line of communication between you and the flight deck, which is indispensable in case of emergencies or when disseminating vital information.
3. BA/QRH/Grooming/DocumentsYour checklist mandates the verification of essential documents, including your AEP, company ID, updated QRH (Quick Reference Handbook), SEP card, and forms file. These documents are your lifeline during the flight, serving as invaluable sources of critical information and procedures.
4. Working Positions: Assigning RolesEfficient cabin operations hinge on the judicious allocation of working positions to your crew members. This practice ensures that everyone is well-versed in their respective responsibilities, enabling prompt responses to passenger needs and swift actions in emergencies.
5. Announcement Assignments
Effective and articulate announcements are the backbone of passenger communication and assurance. Assign specific crew members to deliver announcements, covering topics such as customs, immigration, and station-specific information, to ensure clarity and consistency in communication.
6. Flight Safety Check and Clearance
Prioritizing passenger safety is non-negotiable. Perform a meticulous flight safety check and provide clearance only when you are confident that everything is in order. This step is paramount to a secure and smooth departure.
7. AED/Crew on Board/First Pax/Last Pax/Wheelchair/Door Closed
Monitoring and documenting the timing of pivotal events, including door closure, crew and passenger presence, and wheelchair assistance, is essential for maintaining accurate flight records and adhering to safety protocols.
8. IFE Service or Not
Scrutinize the in-flight entertainment (IFE) system to ensure it is functioning flawlessly. If any issues arise, promptly inform ground personnel and maintenance crews to facilitate a speedy resolution.
9.Boarding Assistance
Assisting passengers, particularly those with special requirements, at the main exit door is instrumental in creating a welcoming and seamless boarding experience.
10.Wheelchair Guests and Special Requirements
Prioritize passengers with wheelchairs and those with special needs, ensuring they receive the assistance and support they require. Our goal is to provide an environment that caters to the diverse needs of all travelers.
11. Announcement of Special and Station-Specific Information
